Joel Rodriguez

It was a special week for the Pinecrest Bakery team as our Founder and CEO, Joel Rodriguez, joined Aly Sánchez on El News Café for a sit-down interview to talk about the story behind Pinecrest Bakery, our journey through the years, and what’s ahead for the brand.

For Joel and the entire Pinecrest Bakery family, seeing our story shared on such a beloved Miami platform was a meaningful moment. From our beginnings in 2012 to the growing Pinecrest Bakery family we have today, Joel had the opportunity to share the story, passion, and traditions that have helped shape the brand.

From One Bakery to a Growing Family

During the interview, Joel spoke with Aly about the journey of Pinecrest Bakery and what it has meant to build a brand rooted in Cuban tradition, family, and community.

What started as a vision to bring authentic Cuban bakery favorites to Miami has continued to grow, and today, Pinecrest Bakery is expanding its family through new locations and franchise opportunities.

For those who have ever dreamed of becoming part of the Pinecrest Bakery family, the interview also highlighted franchising opportunities for entrepreneurs interested in bringing the brand and its traditions to their own communities.

Sharing the Pinecrest Bakery Story

Getting the opportunity to sit down with Aly and talk about Pinecrest Bakery was especially exciting for our team. It was a chance to look back at where we started, celebrate how far we've come, and talk about the exciting possibilities ahead.

For Joel, it was also a special opportunity to personally share the story behind the brand and the people who have helped make Pinecrest Bakery what it is today.

And, of course, no Pinecrest Bakery story would be complete without Miami! Our bakeries have always been about more than just food. They are places where people come together over pastelitos, cafecito, family recipes, and the traditions that make our community so special.

And This May Not Be the Last Time...

We were honored to be part of El News Café this week, and we're already looking forward to what could be next.

Let's just say... stay tuned. 👀

There may be another Pinecrest Bakery appearance with Aly Sánchez coming soon, and we can't wait to share more when the time comes!

For now, we're grateful for the opportunity to share our story, celebrate our growth, and continue introducing more people to the Pinecrest Bakery family.

¡Gracias, Aly, and El News Café, for having us!
