At Pinecrest Bakery, being part of the community means showing up in meaningful ways- and this year, we were honored to once again take part in Bounce Back from Cancer, a powerful initiative dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer and raising awareness through unity, strength, and hope.

This marks another year that Pinecrest Bakery proudly supports this incredible cause, and each time, it means even more. Seeing the community come together—families, survivors, supporters, and advocates—all united for one purpose is something that continues to inspire us deeply.

And this year, we made sure to bring the energy.

Our signature double-decker bus hit the road, becoming a moving symbol of encouragement and celebration throughout the journey. As it rolled along the route, it wasn’t just transportation, it was an experience. Music filled the air, people waved, danced, and cheered, and the atmosphere was one of pure positivity and resilience. We wanted every participant to feel supported, uplifted, and celebrated every step of the way.

Of course, no Pinecrest Bakery moment is complete without a little sabor.

Along the route, we handed out our freshly baked pastelitos and signature cafecito, giving participants a boost of energy and a comforting taste of something familiar. Those small moments, sharing a pastry, sipping on cafecito, exchanging smiles, became part of the larger experience. It was our way of fueling not just the body, but the spirit.

But what makes this event truly special goes far beyond what we bring: it’s what it represents.

Bounce Back from Cancer is about resilience in its purest form. It’s about honoring those who are fighting, celebrating survivors, remembering loved ones, and standing in solidarity with families who are navigating incredibly difficult journeys.
